Brauner Stern: Disclaimer

It has been bought to our attention that a splinter group as such has formed off of the back of Brauner Stern, calling themselves VDub CoolFlow. Their website claims that "In the mid 90's most of the members here where from the original coolflow VDub club that met at the SwordFish in Lee-on-the-Solent many moons ago it seems". It seems hard to comprehend that a lot of the people are from the origins of CoolFlow. Certainly a few people on OUR forum were but the vast vast majority were not.

They then go on to claim that "We are members of BruenerStern VW Club that meets every thursday at the Horse and Jockey in Curdbridge". It would be nice of course if they could actually spell Brauner correctly but as far as we are concerned they are a separate group and nothing to do with us here at BS HQ.

It seems that someone has set this up with no real knowledge base about CoolFlow and we do not want to be associated with that in any way, shape or form.

If people wish to start a splinter group off from us then that's fine. If our websites not good enough for them then that's fine. If our forums not relaxed enough for them that's fine. Just don't bring our name into things when your digging up great clubs from the past that should be left where they gracefully were.
